Founded in Ankara in 1989, Ertex pioneered a new approach to VIP passenger vehicles and developed it for an international clientele.
1989
The beginning
A new approach to passenger travel.
Ercan Malkoc founded Ertex in 1989 and introduced the VIP minibus category first in Turkey, then to customers around the world. The company helped define a specialist field in which a vehicle is treated as a personal living and working environment, shaped around comfort, craftsmanship and individual expectations.
More than 36 years later, Ertex stands among the world’s most experienced companies in bespoke VIP vehicle transformation. Its headquarters and integrated production operation are located in Ankara, supported by its Istanbul presence and international locations in Dubai and Germany.
This is the official Ertex Luxury Car Design website for the brand’s international work, including Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region.

Integrated production
Designed and made under one roof.
Few international specialists bring this breadth of design, upholstery, electronics, engineering and production together under one roof. Approximately eighty percent of the components used in Ertex vehicles are produced within the company’s own integrated operation. Automotive 3D scanning, clay modelling and CNC router production connect digital development with specialist hand finishing, protecting quality and the original design intention at every stage.
Research & development
Innovation as a source of growth.
Ertex supports its long-term development through continuing investment in research, new ideas and production technology. This work strengthens the company’s ability to create original comfort systems, improve material processes and manage the homologation work applicable to each completed vehicle and destination market.
Ertex Group
Experience beyond automotive.
The company founded in 1989 also became the foundation of the Ertex Group of Companies. From 2005 onward, the group expanded its activities into tourism and construction while continuing to grow the automotive business.
Its investments include Big Thermal Holiday Village, known for one of Turkey’s largest spa centres, together with the Yamac Evler residential project and Ankara Bati Park Shopping Mall. These projects reflect the group’s broader experience in creating destinations, living spaces and long-term brands.
