Analytics information
Analytics data is used to understand website performance, identify useful content and improve the journey from model discovery to enquiry. This category activates only after consent and only when an approved analytics provider has been configured.
- Approximate country, city or region derived from an IP address; raw IP handling depends on the configured provider.
- Browser, operating system, device category, screen size, language and time-zone information.
- Referring website, search or campaign source, UTM parameters and landing page.
- Pages viewed, model or showroom content visited, clicks, scroll depth, media interactions, errors and session duration.
- Aggregated conversion events such as opening or completing an enquiry flow. Enquiry message contents are not intended to be sent to analytics tools.
Personalisation information
Personalisation is not used to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
- Previously viewed vehicle models, content categories or showroom locations.
- Display and navigation preferences, returning-visitor status and relevant content choices.
- Anonymous or pseudonymous interest signals used to present more useful Ertex content.
Marketing information
Marketing technologies may support Google Ads, Meta or similar approved campaign platforms after consent. They are not activated merely because the preference controls exist; the relevant platform must also be configured.
- Advertising or campaign identifiers supplied by an approved platform.
- Campaign views, visits and enquiry conversion events.
- Pseudonymous audience membership used to measure campaigns or limit repeated advertising.
- Privacy-enhanced matching data may be used only when separately configured, disclosed and supported by an appropriate legal basis.
What we do not intend to collect through cookies
- The free-text contents of your vehicle enquiry.
- Payment-card or banking information.
- Passwords, government identifiers or precise GPS location.
- Special-category information such as health, biometric, political or religious data.
Providers and retention
Optional technologies may be supplied by approved analytics, advertising or experience providers. Their exact cookies, identifiers and retention periods depend on which services are configured when the site is published. This policy will be updated with a provider-specific table before a new non-essential provider is activated.
Analytics and campaign data should be retained only for a proportionate period needed for trend analysis, campaign measurement, security and legal obligations. Provider controls will be configured to avoid indefinite retention where a shorter period is available.
Browser controls and external links
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking necessary storage may cause the preference notice to reappear. Opening Instagram, YouTube, Ertex Holding, email or telephone links takes you to another provider, whose own privacy and cookie terms then apply.
